2021-2026

This series was born from an apparently simple gesture, a return to analog photography, that quickly became a necessary brake, the camera’s technical limitations forced me to abandon the reflex of capturing the moment and ask myself, instead, why I seek it in the first place. Photography is, for me, a productive paradox, it documents reality and interprets it simultaneously, turning each image into a negotiation between what exists and what the mind chooses to see. The underlying theme is perception itself, the mechanism by which we complete, project, and invent the world around us, often without being aware that we are doing so, and visual ambiguity here is not an aesthetic effect, but the very substance of this inquiry.

I address the viewer willing to participate, not one who seeks a closed narrative, but one who accepts filling in the gaps with their own mental images, with their own biography of looking. This series is, at once, a personal form of therapy and an open dialogue — the elephant that no one can grasp in a single glance, and which needs, precisely for that reason, all the blind men together.
