shapes of water

Water, a recurring element in my work, encapsulates my concerns regarding perception, patterns, and forms. As an inexhaustible generator of easily interpretable or contextualizable shapes, water creates characters and actions. Through very short exposure times in certain photographs, ripples multiply, freeze, converge, giving way to unexpected movements, unsettling reflections, and dizzying vanishing points. Puddles, snow, clouds… endless variations of this element that, more than just a backdrop, generates a singular atmosphere, constantly challenging our reference points.
